Job Details

As a Java Engineer with Okta integration experience, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications with a focus on integrating Okta for authentication and authorization purposes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation of security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java applications with a focus on integrating Okta for user authentication and authorization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement security protocols.
  • Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) using Okta.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Okta integration and Java applications.
  • Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Java development and identity management.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Java development.
  • Strong experience with Okta integration.
  • Proficient in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with security protocols and standards (e.g., OAuth, OpenID Connect).
  • Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Spring or Spring Boot.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Familiarity with other identity management systems and protocols.
