Responsibilities:
- Assists in data curation to support the modeling efforts within their current program.
- Performs data exploration and profiling of data sources.
- Works closely with the client’s Lead/Senior to support them in data analysis work.
- Partners with predictive modeling resources to understand and document the data necessary to support a modeling effort.
- Identifies data gaps and proposes solutions to fill those gaps.
- When needed, produces data requirements to be executed by our IT partners based on business needs/requirements.
- Performs validation of data assets produced by IT to ensure they are consistent with the data requirements and can be relied upon by the modelers.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to assess readily available data and any gaps based on business needs
- Partner with IT to enhance existing data assets to support advancements in product and pricing. This includes providing requirements, consulting on IT solution design, validation of the solution, and eventual consumption of the assets.
Skills/Experience Needed:
- 1 to 3 years experience in data engineering, data curation, and/or analytic data builds
- 1 to 3 years of experience in analysis and problem-solving
- 1 to 3 years experience extracting requirements from existing systems, databases, documents, and subject matter experts
