The Lead Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for the technical and process QA leadership of an application function, ensuring that user requirements are met, releases to production are defect-free, and systems and changes operate as anticipated without negatively affecting operations. In addition to supervising analysts and managing priorities, resource capitalization, deliverables, and tasks for the team as they pertain to an application function, the development and enforcement of QA policies and procedures, which include the incorporation of best practices and root cause analysis to measure and enhance execution and effectiveness.
Major Responsibilities
- Research and test defects in production and development environments.
- Analyze performance test results, determine the root cause, and make optimization recommendations.
- Investigate research and document the test requirements for system defects, enhancements and requests.
- Provide performance testing support.
- Ensure test plans and scenarios utilize requirements, design, and development artifacts to ensure user requirements in scope are satisfied.
- Ensure required testing environments and configurations are adequate and controlled to meet the needs of the department.
- Coordinate with other teams as required mitigating overlapping needs.
- Collaborate with development teams to review development quality and effectiveness.
- Develop/review functional, system, integration, regression and load testing plans and scripts as required.
- Establish QA processes and guidelines.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field with 8 years of experience in offered or similar position.
- Stated experience must include 4 years of experience with Loadrunner, monitoring tools and CI/CD tools.
- May telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.
