Job Details
Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for the processing of materials into partially finished or finished products. Works in conjunction with engineering and manufacturing departments to guarantee that quality standards are met. Establishes and executes procedures and methodologies for the assessment, testing, and inspection of the precision and accuracy of production equipment and products. Conducts quality assurance tests, designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment, and conducts statistical analysis to evaluate the cost of and determine the responsibility for products or materials that fail to meet the required standards and specifications. Conducts quality system audits to identify and rectify deficiencies. Ensures that the documentation is in compliance with the requirements and that the corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards. May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control, and/or research and development as they relate to product or process quality. Possibility of certification in the quality engineering methodologies of six sigma and lean.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 9-year minimum experience with Bachelor’s degree. 7 years with Master’s degree.
