Details
We are currently in search of a QA Engineer who is both highly motivated and experienced to join our team. The QA Engineer will function as a technical resource and supervisor in the Quality department, overseeing the management of supplier quality responsibilities, conducting experiments, monitoring data trends, and inspecting parts. Additionally, audits, root cause analyses, and opportunities for quality and process optimization will be pursued.
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing Quality Assurance.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001-2015, Internal and third-party (registrar) auditing.
- Working knowledge of PPAP documentation, SPC, control plans, gage R&R studies, and other common manufacturing quality tools
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, determining appropriate inspection techniques, and using measuring equipment, including a vision system.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, with an emphasis on Excel.
Nice to Haves
- IQMS ERP System
- Green or Black belt.
- Supervisory experience.
- Any kind of vision system/CMM experience (running or programming). Ours is OGP Smart Scope with measure X software.
- Associate degree in Quality or Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or other technical field with (3) years’ experience in Quality Assurance
