Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the Director Business Systems Analyst and Product Owner setting ambitious and clear product vision and communicating the story effectively to key stakeholders and the rest of the team.
- Beginning to identify opportunities to provide input to the team & coach others with occasional guidance.
- Works on solving extremely complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables.
- Collaborate with product owners in understanding needs and defining feature stories, tech leads in defining technical design and other team members to understand the system end-to-end and deliver robust solutions that bring about business impact.
- Work on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables and may impact future concepts, products or technologies.
- Works on extremely complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of often complex variables related to technology and/or data.
- Exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Own the end-to-end product strategy from inception and determine business value once solution enters production.
- Ensure alignment of product features and stories, i.e., review, give feedback, and prioritize user stories in line with product vision.
- Understands the vision and owns aspects of the product management/roadmap activities.
What You Bring
- Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering; Analytics or experience in related fields.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Knowledge of business concepts, tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company’s business.
- Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges
- Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills.
