Job Details
- Strong experience in using T- SQL query language in data management, analysis and reporting in MS SQL server environment.
- Knowledge in development, change management and testing.
- Strong SQL development experience; this includes advanced SQL query development and SSIS development within SQL server environment.
- Considerable knowledge and experience in database structure and design in the MS SQL server environment.
- Considerable knowledge of data quality management and procedures. Ability to explore and understand the data structure and contents.
- Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with XML.
- Knowledge of public health disease surveillance and data; experience with reportable disease/health-related information systems & management.
- Maintain documentation of processes, procedures and manuals.
- Experience using R or SAS.
- Experience with Health Level 7 (HL7) messaging standards for electronic lab and electronic case reporting.
- Experience with reportable disease/health-related information systems & management.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, and/or equivalent experience and training.
